NEW ADMISSIONS - GRADE R AND GRADE 2-7
GRADE 1 ADMISSIONS to be done firstly through Gauteng Department of Education – gdeadmissions.gov.za and once the child has been placed at Houghton School – to then complete this Houghton School application
In order to apply at Houghton Primary School for the next school year, please click on the link below and have the following documents required for uploading:
FOR THE CHILD:
- South African Birth certificate / Asylum or refugee Permit / Permanent Residence Permit / Passport – Certified
- Most recent school report (unless applying for Grade R)
- Clinic / Vaccination / Immunisation card with relevant immunisations
FOR PARENTS:
- Identity documents of BOTH parents – Certified
- (In the case of deceased parent(s) – a Death Certificate is required.
- In the case of Legal Guardianship/Adoption – copies of legal documents produced by the Courts are required)
- Proof of home address: Municipal account/lease agreement
• Signature page of the Code of Conduct (Code of Conduct for Parents and Learners can be downloaded from Files and Downloads)
• Statutory Undertaking to Pay School Fees
• Credit Bureau Consent and Indemnity Form
